- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese (optional)
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions (optional)
Instructions
- 1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- 2. Sauté chopped onion in a large skillet over medium heat until softened.
- 3. In a bowl, combine shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, salt, and pepper.
- 4. Add sautéed onions to the chicken mixture.
- 5. In a bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until smooth.
- 6. Pour chicken mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- 7. Spread creamy sauce over the chicken mixture.
- 8. Top with shredded cheddar cheese and Monterey Jack cheese (if using).
- 9. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until bubbly and cheese is melted and lightly browned.
- 10. Let rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with green onions (if using).
